Revised title: Scenic Route

Mitchell (Josh Duhamel) and Carter (Dan Fogler), life-long friends who have drifted apart, find themselves in a dire situation after their old pickup breaks down on a remote desert road during a road trip. The unforgiving elements of the desert gradually erode their spirits, and they begin to criticize each other's life choices with ruthless intent. As they ponder their own identities and contemplate the missed opportunities in their lives, their frustration escalates to the point of physical aggression and eventually descending into a state of madness, where one of them even wields a knife. What initially seemed like a mere inconvenience quickly turns into a terrifying fight for survival, where their lives hang in the balance.
